Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 — 2026-07-24. This policy covers the PlanCrucible website and service, operated by HarLin Consulting Pty Ltd, ABN 90 642 382 447 ("HarLin", "we", "us"), New South Wales, Australia.
1. What we collect
- Email correspondence. The intake form on this site opens your own email client; nothing is transmitted to us until you send that email. We receive what you choose to send: your name, email address, company details, ABN if you provide one, and anything you write in the message.
- Submitted plan documents. The business plan and supporting material you email us for review.
- Nothing else from the website. This site sets no cookies, runs no scripts, and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server logs (IP address, request time) as part of operating the infrastructure.
2. Why we collect it
One purpose: to deliver the review you ordered. That means reading your plan, running the adversarial review, producing your report, invoicing you, and corresponding with you about the engagement. We do not use your information for marketing and we do not add you to any mailing list.
3. AI subprocessors and overseas processing
Plans are processed using third-party artificial-intelligence services under commercial API terms that do not permit the provider to use your inputs for model training. These providers are based in the United States, so your plan content is processed on infrastructure outside Australia during the review. Before any overseas disclosure we take the steps reasonable in the circumstances to ensure the recipient handles the information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
4. Retention
Submitted plan documents and the working material generated during review are deleted after the delivery lifecycle unless you opt into the casebook, in which case we keep only what is needed to maintain the anonymised published version, with identifying details redacted and your sign-off obtained before publication. Ordinary business records (invoices, engagement correspondence) are retained as required by Australian tax and corporations law.
5. No sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your plan content to anyone, in any circumstances.
6. Australian Privacy Principles
HarLin acts consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in how it collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information, whether or not it is at any given time an entity to which the Act mandatorily applies.
7. Access, correction, and contact
If you want to know what personal information we hold about you, want it corrected, or want it deleted, email pauldale.oz@gmail.com. That address is also the contact point for any privacy question or complaint. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
